This course develops basic skills necessary to operate a small business within the highly competitive society of today’s business world. Emphasis is placed on the responsibilities and procedures encountered in operating a small business. Specific areas covered will be: classifications, types, location, financing, market information, sales promotion, merchandising, controls, credit, buying, pricing and personnel selection and policies.
