This course covers network technologies, media and topologies, devices, management, tools and security. It is designed to provide students a fundamental understanding of internetworking. Topics include an emphasis on OSI network layering model, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) physical technologies, and the latest skills needed by technicians, such as basic principles on how to secure a network.
