NSRN 200 - Bridge Course
1 Credit Hour(s)
This course is required for all Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) and Paramedics matriculating into the Coffeyville Community College ADN Registered Nursing (RN) program. Emphasis is focused on the change in role, responsibility, and accountability when moving to an RN scope of practice. Critical thinking, math review, nursing process, essential nursing concepts, and Intravenous Therapy Skills, therapeutic uses, and complications will serve to bridge the transition, and prepare the student to enter third semester RN coursework
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Nursing Program.
Corequisite(s): NSRN 205 . Students must be successful in the Bridge Course in order to progress in the Nursing Program.
