NSRN 237 - Advanced Nursing I Clinical 2 Credit Hour(s)
This course builds on previous concepts of medical surgical care to adult clients and focuses on complex diseases of adults in acute and critical care settings. Advanced Nursing I Clinical is an experiential learning practicum of Advanced Nursing I. Emphasis is on providing advanced therapeutic nursing care for adult medical surgical clients. The course is designed to prepare the student clinically to become a critical care team member that serves to restore adult health.
Prerequisite(s): NSRN 222 and NSRN 224 Corequisite(s): NSRN 235 . Students must be successful in both Advanced Nursing I and Advanced Nursing I Clinical in order to progress in the Nursing Program.
