NSPN 122 - Medical-Surgical Nursing I
5 Credit Hour(s)
This course focuses on the nursing care of adult and older adult clients with common medical/surgical health problems. Emphasis is placed on the development of clinical judgment as it relates to various physiological disorders in different health care settings. Evidence-based practice, professional standards and legal and ethical responsibilities of the practical nurse is incorporated throughout. Principles of IV therapy are also addressed.
Prerequisite(s): NSPN 101 , NSPN 106 and NSPN 131
