NSPN 142 - Medical-Surgical Nursing II

This course focuses on the nursing care of adult and older adult clients with common medical/surgical health problems. Emphasis is placed on the development of clinical judgment as it relates to various physiological disorders in different health care settings. Evidence-based practice, professional standards and legal and ethical responsibilities of the practical nurse is incorporated throughout. Principles related to the leadership responsibilities of the practical nurse are also discussed.
