ARTS 110 - Photography I

This is an introductory course designed to acquaint the beginning student with the materials and techniques of 35mm black and white photography. The course entails instruction in the use of the camera and use of the darkroom facilities for developing and printing. Ownership of, or ready access to, a 35mm hand camera is required of each student. Emphasis in this course is placed on photography as a means of artistic expression.
