NSRN 241 - Mental Health Nursing II

This course explores complex concepts in mental health nursing and focuses on providing specialized care to mental health clients in crisis. The nursing process will be applied with emphasis on critical thinking, therapeutic nursing interventions, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Prerequisite(s): NSRN 235 and NSRN 237
Corequisite(s): NSRN 248 . Students must be successful in Mental Health Nursing II in order to progress in the Nursing Program.
