NSRN 246 - Advanced Nursing II
4 Credit Hour(s)
This course builds on previous concepts of medical surgical care to adult patients and focuses on complex diseases of adults in acute and critical care settings. The student is expected to integrate knowledge gained from previous learning experiences and apply safe and effective care for clients with select advanced medical and surgical problems. The role of the registered nurse in evidence-based nursing practice is emphasized throughout.
Prerequisite(s): NSRN 241
Corequisite(s): NSRN 248 . Students must be successful in both Advanced Nursing II and Advanced Nursing II Clinical in order to progress in the Nursing Program.
