MATH 250 - Elementary Statistics 3 Credit Hour(s)
This course is an introduction to statistics for students of various majors. Topics included in this course are analysis of data, discrete and continuous distributions, sampling and statistical inference.
Prerequisite(s): *Completion of the ACCUPLACER Test , ACT, SAT or ALEKS PPL is required for students prior to enrolling in their first math course. Multiple Measures for placement may be considered.
Math ACT: 18 or higher
Math SAT: 510 or higher
ALEKS PPL: 30 or higher
Accuplacer: 255 or higher
Multiple Measures:
- HS GPA and Course Grade- 3.0 GPA and B- or higher in second semester Algebra 2 or equivalent course
