HIST 104 - World History to 1500 3 Credit Hour(s)
This course provides an overview of the major civilizations around the world, from the emergence of the first developed societies in Mesopotamia (circa 3500 B.C.) through the European conquest of the “New World” in the 1500s. Students will explore key themes centered on the interactions between religion, knowledge, and political power within European, African, and Asian civilizations. Additionally, the course will examine the dynamics of cultural exchange and conflict among these civilizations.
