ACRT 119 - Introduction to Estimating & Diagnostic Scanning
3 Credit Hour(s)
This course will introduce the students to Estimating and diagnostic scanning through a variety of classroom and shop activities. Students will evaluate damage, prepare estimate, and calculate costs of the repairs of a damaged vehicle. Through a variety of classroom and/or lab/shop learning and assessment activities, students will explore the components of damage analysis. Upon completion they will be able to demonstrate basic estimating to identify structural repairs required, part design, construction materials, and manufacturing process.
