Automotive Collision and Refinishing Technology, AAS Degree

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct and finish automobile bodies, fenders, and external features. Includes instruction in structure analysis, damage repair, non-structural analysis, mechanical and electrical components, plastics and adhesives, painting and refinishing techniques, and damage analysis and estimating.

To complete the Associate in Applied Science Degree, general education requirements must be taken from the list approved by the CCC General Education Committee (see college catalog). The Auto Collision Repair Technology credit hours and the general education credit hours must total at least 66 credit hours in fields outlined in the catalog. The Auto Collision Program AAS Degree requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of general education coursework.
